After years of IVF, Ritu and Anand turned to surrogacy. They valued that the doctor was candid from the start that success could not be promised. The legal process took time, but every step was done by the book.

IVF and surrogacy questions
Is surrogacy legal in India?
Yes, but only altruistic surrogacy under the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021. A married Indian couple with a certified medical need, or an Indian widow or divorced woman aged 35 to 45, can opt for it. The surrogate may receive only medical and other prescribed expenses (such as loss of wages) and insurance cover. Commercial surrogacy is banned.
What does surrogacy cost in Delhi?
Our surrogacy treatment package starts from ₹4–5 lakh, and the final amount depends on the patient's condition. Under the law, the costs are medical and legal: IVF to create embryos, embryo transfers, the surrogate's pregnancy and delivery care, her insurance for 36 months, and the certification and court process. Medical costs depend on your reports, so we give you an itemised estimate after the consultation.
How many visits do we need if we live outside Delhi?
Most couples come to Delhi for the first consultation, for egg collection and for embryo transfer. Many blood tests and some scans can be done in your own city, and the doctor reviews the reports on WhatsApp. Your plan lists exactly which visits must be in Delhi.
Can we know the IVF cost before treatment starts?
Yes. After the consultation and tests you get a written estimate with each item listed: medicines, procedures, lab work and embryo freezing if needed. Nothing is added without discussing it with you first.
What is the success rate of IVF?
It depends mostly on the woman's age and egg reserve (AMH), and on the cause of infertility. A single number for everyone is misleading, so the doctor explains your realistic chances after seeing your reports. No clinic can honestly guarantee a pregnancy.
Do you offer sex selection or gender prediction?
No. Sex selection is a criminal offence in India under the PCPNDT Act and the ART Act, and we do not offer or discuss it.
