Many Bangalore couples meet surrogacy pricing through a hospital group. Bangalore has a large number of registered surrogacy clinics, and several are branches of the same chain, each with a package of its own. A package is convenient, but its value depends on what sits outside it.
Two more things shape the surrogacy cost in Bangalore. Many couples here start a family after years of work, so age limits and egg reserve come up early in planning. And both partners usually hold demanding jobs, so the number of days away from the office matters as much as the rupee figure.
This page covers all three. It shows our package, the extras that depend on your condition, and the legal costs every surrogacy carries. Bangalore is about 2 hours 45 minutes from Delhi by air. Tests and early scans can be done in Bangalore and reviewed on WhatsApp.
Our surrogacy package for couples from Bangalore
₹4–5 lakhSurrogacy treatment package
- Consultations and treatment planning
- IVF to create embryos (stimulation, egg collection, lab work)
- Embryo freezing
- Embryo transfer to the surrogate

The final figure moves within this range according to the patient's condition, for example how the ovaries respond to medicines. Your written estimate states it before treatment starts.

Families who planned surrogacy around busy careers
-
Shalini and Deepak travelled from Kolkata to Delhi for treatment. One coordinator kept a single checklist for their travel, certificates, IVF and delivery, so they always knew the next step.

Gurpreet and Mandeep came to Delhi from Chandigarh. They wanted a team that understood the Surrogacy Act, and careful screening of the surrogate and a complete legal file mattered most to them.

What hospital-group packages often leave out
A package price usually covers a defined set of steps. Anything beyond that set is billed separately, and the list of exclusions is where packages differ most.
Before you accept any package, in Bangalore or with us, ask whether these are included:
- A second or third embryo transfer, listed with us at ₹50,000 – ₹1,00,000 each
- Donor eggs or donor sperm, if a medical board certifies the need
- Genetic testing of embryos, at ₹20,000 – ₹50,000 when the doctor advises it
- A caesarean delivery, at ₹1,50,000 – ₹2,00,000, or a twin pregnancy at ₹1,00,000 – ₹2,00,000
- The surrogate's insurance for the full 36 months
- Legal documents and the parentage order
If a package answers yes to all of these, it is genuinely complete. If it answers no to several, add those lines before comparing totals.
Age limits for couples who started later
Under the Surrogacy Act, the wife must be between 23 and 50 and the husband between 26 and 55. A District Medical Board must certify a medical need for surrogacy. These limits matter for Bangalore couples who plan in their forties.
In October 2025, the Supreme Court ruled that the age bar does not apply to couples whose embryos were frozen before the Act came into force. The age limits themselves were not struck down. If you froze embryos years ago, ask your advocate whether this ruling covers you.
Age also affects egg reserve. If your own eggs are not usable, donor eggs are allowed with board certification, at ₹1,50,000 – ₹2,50,000. Our donor gamete rules page explains the conditions.
The donor option came with a February 2024 change to the Surrogacy Rules. Donor eggs or donor sperm are allowed only when a District Medical Board certifies a medical need. Even then, the child must have at least one gamete from the couple.
Planning work leave around the key dates
Few steps need both of you in Delhi at once. Planning leave becomes simpler once you know which ones do.
| Step | Who travels | Leave to plan |
|---|---|---|
| First consultation | Both partners | One or two working days |
| Egg collection | Wife for the final scans; husband for the sample | Several days for the wife; less for the husband |
| Embryo transfer to the surrogate | Usually no one needs to be present | None for most couples |
| Reviews | Often done over WhatsApp | Usually none |
The doctor confirms your dates once stimulation begins. Booking flexible flights helps, since collection timing depends on the final scans.
If the husband cannot leave work on collection day, tell the doctor early. In some cases a sample can be frozen in advance on an earlier visit. Whether that suits you depends on the semen analysis, so ask before relying on it.
IVF surrogacy, step by step with costs
- TestsPre-treatment tests, which can be done in Bangalore, cost ₹47,700 – ₹95,000.
- CertificatesYou apply to the District Medical Board of the state where you live or work, then to the appropriate authority. Both certificates are valid for a year.
- IVF and embryo transferEmbryos are created and transferred to the surrogate within the package.
- PregnancyThe surrogate's pregnancy care costs ₹4,00,000 – ₹4,50,000, and her insurance ₹65,000 – ₹1,45,000.
- Birth and parentageDelivery follows, and a Magistrate's court passes the parentage and custody order.

Altruistic surrogacy and what it means for cost
Only altruistic surrogacy is legal. No one is paid to carry the baby. That is why the cost is made of medical care, insurance and legal work rather than a fee.
The surrogate must be an ever-married woman aged 25 to 35 with her own child. She can be a surrogate only once. She does not need to be a relative.
One more rule affects some couples. You cannot apply if you already have a surviving child, whether biological, adopted or born through surrogacy. The exception is a child who is mentally or physically challenged or has a life-threatening illness, which needs board certification and approval from the appropriate authority.
