In Gurugram, IVF cost questions often arrive with a policy document attached. Many couples have group health cover through an employer and want to know what it will pay. Others have a hospital package in hand and want to see what sits behind its single number.
This page is built for both. The test tube baby cost table lists each charge on its own row. The notes below the tables explain which items are optional and why. Further down, you will find a short guide to checking your employer's health cover and planning around Gurugram traffic.
Our clinic is in Delhi, 45 to 90 minutes from Gurugram by the Yellow Line metro or road. Blood tests and early scans can be done in Gurugram if that saves you a trip.

Checking employer health cover for IVF
Group policies differ widely, so read your own before counting on it. The wording decides what is paid, not the company's reputation.
- Find the policy documentHR can share the full terms, not just the benefits summary.
- Search the key wordsLook for infertility, assisted reproduction, IVF and ICSI in both the benefits and the exclusions.
- Check limitsSome covers set a cap, a waiting period or a list of approved hospitals.
- Ask in writingGet the insurer's or HR's confirmation by email before treatment starts.
- Keep everythingSave itemised bills, prescriptions and reports for any claim.
If your policy does not cover IVF, our guide to IVF financing options covers other ways to plan the cost.
Planning around traffic on procedure days
Egg collection is timed precisely to the trigger injection, about a day and a half earlier. That makes it the one appointment you cannot shift. Leave Gurugram early enough to absorb the slow end of the journey.
Embryo transfer is also booked for a set time, a few days after collection. Scans during stimulation are more flexible and can often be taken early in the morning. On egg collection day, arrange a ride home; the wife should rest for the rest of the day.
Reading a hospital IVF package from Gurugram
A single package price can hide a lot. Before comparing it with our IVF price, ask what it includes.
| Ask about | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Medicines | Often the most variable part of the bill |
| ICSI | Needed when sperm count or movement is low |
| Blastocyst culture | Growing embryos to day 5 is sometimes extra |
| Embryo freezing and storage | Usually charged per year after the first |
| Frozen embryo transfer | Needed if the first transfer does not work |
Our post on ICSI versus IVF explains when ICSI is worth its added cost.
When the sperm report changes the plan
Sperm quality can change an IVF bill as much as egg quality. That is why a semen analysis comes early in the tests. It can be done at a lab in Gurugram and shared on WhatsApp.
If the count or movement is low, ICSI is usually advised. If no sperm are found in the sample, a minor procedure called TESA or PESA may retrieve sperm directly. It costs ₹30,000 – ₹60,000. Our male infertility page explains the options.
Age limits under the ART Act
The ART (Regulation) Act, 2021 sets age limits for treatment. Women must be above 21 and below 50, and men above 21 and below 55. The Delhi High Court held in May 2026 that the limit applies when treatment starts.
So a couple whose embryos were frozen during earlier treatment can continue with them. If you are close to either limit, ask the doctor early.
Why your final IVF price may differ
The figure in the first table is a range for good reason. Medicine doses follow age, AMH and weight. Sperm quality decides whether ICSI is needed. The number of good embryos decides whether freezing is worth it.
Your odds of pregnancy hang on much the same things, chiefly the wife's age and egg reserve, then sperm and embryo quality. Your doctor explains what is realistic for you after reviewing your tests.
